Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and launch of new aftermarket products to drive sales growth, margin expansion, and increased market share by identifying market opportunities and trends for our global business

  • Gather market trends and information by working with customers

  • Develop and qualify new products through close collaboration with engineering R&D teams

  • Execute all strategic marketing and sales strategies across business segments with internal and external stakeholders

Role Purpose:

  • Lead product development efforts from product ideation to launch to ensure the service / aftermarket teams have a pipeline of highly competitive products to introduce to customers

  • Analyze competitor strategies, products, technologies, profitability trends, strengths and weaknesses, and make recommendations with appropriate risk / opportunity analysis. Build financial models to justify business opportunities

  • Drive analysis and plans for new product and services development including collaboration with customers and regional service teams for new programs, products and aftermarket parts offers

  • Develop product requirements and specifications with engineering and service/sales teams

  • Develop product go-to-market strategies and communications, including supporting materials required for new products including selection programs, literature, new product messaging, PR, etc.

  • Product pricing

  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on progress of development

  • Promote quality and customer satisfaction in all activities relating to the launch of the new products and related services

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in New Product Development / Management or similar fields

  • Experience in product development and quality or technical review board will be a plus

  • Good analytical skills applicable to both engineering and commercial domains

  • Ability to work with cross function and regional teams

  • Resourceful, result oriented and able to drive root cause analysis to solve problems

  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and positive mindset
