Sr. Project Quality Eng.

About the Role

The Sr. Project Quality Engineer is a critical position that will play a key role in the development of large-size NPI programs. This position is focused in the Quality Engineering side and will be in charge of implementing a high-performance and robust new manufacturing process through controls and standards based on Carrier Excellence Tools such as Procert, MSA and Control Plans.

Key Responsabilities

  • Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols.

  • Provides analysis and explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods and technologies to assure reliability and conformance of products and processes.

  • Analyzes and makes recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced products & processes.

  • Analyze and determine KC/AMC analysis along Design Enginnering and design and implement robust plans and controls to meet capabilities required.

  • Managing and implement Control Plan documentation including Visual Aids and PFMEA.

  • Determine and implement Quality Instrumentation, Gauges and Fixtures.

  • Track and control PPAP process. Ensure process is conducted according to Carrier standards.

  • Gauge RR and CPK studies for every processes accordingly.

  • Set up and Implementation of MES (Manufacturing Execution System). Establish mistake proof controls and methods using MES.

  • Track and ensure external suppliers meet the High-Quality Carrier standards. Perform and conduct assessments in external supplier sites and establish preventive and corrective actions.

  • Determine and implement along Manufacturing Team a robust and capable process where FPY, COPQ and Warranties targets accomplish Carrier expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree: Mechanical, Industrial,  Mechatronic, Design Enginner or similar.

  • Experience: +5 years of experience in Quality.

  • English written and spoken.
