About This Role

We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and self-motivated person, responsible for leading the Collierville factory finance team and business partnering to deliver operating results for the company.

The ideal candidate will have accounting and finance experience supporting a high-volume manufacturing operation. Overall, this position will provide financial leadership across our Collierville factory which includes support of the monthly close & forecast process, annual plan, variance analysis, KPI tracking & reporting, identifying and driving factory productivity and overall management support.

The Senior Manager, Plant Finance is responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, direct and coordinate the monthly financial close and forecast, including analysis and reporting; drive plans to correct issues

  • Prepare and coordinate the annual business plan cycle, including the establishment of financial targets, metrics, and guidelines; calendar of submissions and reviews; coordination of functional team submissions

  • Drive productivity in the plant by identifying risk and opportunities and working cross-functionally to implement productivity projects.

  • Lead project-based financial analysis and modeling to support profitability and productivity projects

  • Responsible for cost accounting, E&O analysis, internal controls, fixed assets and all Sarbanes-Oxley requirements including documentation, testing and remediation efforts

  • Ensure preparation of financial information is in accordance with GAAP and prepares company for internal & external audits

  • Provide oversight and direction to plant finance team employees with a focus on their development and meeting the needs of the factory.

  • Provide financial leadership across the factory as a member of Plant Manager’s staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics

  • 7+ years of finance and/or accounting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA is preferred

  • Financial operations experience coupled with financial planning and analysis required; Previous manufacturing and cost accounting experience required

  • Exceptional analytical skills, significant experience in financial forecasting and expertise in the development of financial models

  • Ability to lead and develop a team of financial professionals

  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Excel, HFM/Hyperion Financial Management and PowerPoint

  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP

  • Strong communication skills with a history of influencing multiple levels of the organization

  • Strong communication skills with ability to present his or her recommendations effectively to senior management in both written form and orally

  • Passion for servicing customers.  Ability to listen to customer needs and quickly act to solve their problems, go above and beyond to exceed their expectations.

  • Proven ability to execute with speed and exhibit a bias for action mindset.

  • Ability to think outside the box, innovate, take risks and implement progressive, sustainable solutions.

  • Strong ability to work in diverse, cross functional project teams to achieve high levels of performance in a dynamic, changing environment. Successful experience with collaborating in a matrix environment.

  • Must have advanced level skills with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint
