    About the role

    This position is for a senior Product and Technical Service technician who is under general supervision. Assists with conducting technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks. May assist in orienting, training, and assigning the work of technical/business support employees.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Study and analyze customer site mechanical, electrical, and controls (MEC) equipment
  • Identify customer equipment variants and map them to Abound Insights digital product equipment models
  • Identify and map customer equipment data points to corresponding Abound Insights platform points
  • Onboard customer sites and equipment into the Abound Insights platform
  • Validate insights generated by the platform and perform necessary corrections to ensure data accuracy
  • Execute go‑live activities for Customer Sites
  • Provide customer training and platform walkthroughs to ensure effective adoption
  • Deliver Abound Insights product and user support, including issue analysis and resolution

Requirements

  • Works under general supervision to provide product and technical support.
  • Responds to basic customer inquiries related to installation, modification, upgrade, maintenance and repair of the company products or equipment purchased.
  • Assists with conducting technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives.
  • Assists with drafting technical documentation to improve the level of on-site maintenance and timely processing of product fault.
  • Coordinates technical service activities between customers, customer service representatives, sales representatives and field staff.
  • United States: HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

    Americas: Canada/Mexico

    Europe: Role dependent.

    Asia: HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
