Do you want to build a career with a truly global company in Security?  Chubb Fire & Security are looking for a Safe Technician Locksmith for our branch in Auckland.

The role

Based in our branch in Auckland you will be responsible for the production, installation, servicing and maintenance of lock and safe systems and equipment within clients premises.

This will involve:

  • Providing quality survey, installation and service work to recognised trade practices and recommend systems and equipment

  • Identifying defects and repair requirements of security systems and equipment

  • Maximising efficiencies via route planning, time management, stock management, and service delivery

  • Ad hoc requirement to attend urgent mobile locksmith jobs

  • Effectively communicating with the customer and providing assistance in the use of equipment

  • Ensuring highest level of presentation as a Chubb representative, including individual presentation, vehicle presentation, punctuality, courtesy and standard of work.

  • Complying with all Customer requirements as defined by the Customer contract

To be successful

You will have previous experience in a similar role focused on Safe locksmith systems and processes. This will be supplemented by your skills and experience in:

  • Providing a strong customer experience

  • Safe opening and combo change

  • Knowledge with Kaba x10, Axessor, & LaGard will be advantageous

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated, strong analytical skills and detail-oriented

  • Ability to work independently

You will need the following: 

  • Current Driver’s License

  • Existing knowledge of the NZ standards as they relate to the Security industry (preferred)
