Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Pricing and Master Data Manager EMEA to join our team.  Reporting directly to the EMEA Supply Chain Manager, he/she will play a crucial role in driving strategic pricing initiatives and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all Customer and Vendor Master data across the EMEA region.  The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pricing strategy development, data management and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Pricing Initiatives:develop and implement strategic pricing initiatives to optimize revenue and profitability across the EMEA region.  Analyze market trends, competitive landscape and customer behavior to identify pricing opportunities and risks.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance and Product Management to develop pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.  Conduct regular pricing reviews and recommend adjustments to ensure competitiveness and margin optimization.  Utilize pricing analytics tools and methodologies to drive data-driven decision-making processes.

Master Data Management:  take ownership of all Customer and Vendor Master data management processes within the EMEA region.  Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data entries in compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.  Develop and maintain data governance policies, procedures and best practices to uphold data quality standards.  Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies, anomalies and integrity issues promptly.  Implement and maintain data quality controls and validation mechanisms to minimize errors and improve data reliability.  Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance master data management processes and systems.

Cross-functional Collaboration:  collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management and Supply Chain teams to align pricing strategies with business goals and objectives.  Act as a subject matter expert on pricing and master data management matters, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders.  Facilitate communication and knowledge-sharing across departments to ensure a cohesive approach to pricing and data management practices.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:  monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pricing effectiveness, data quality, and process efficiency.  Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate insights, trends, and performance metrics to management and relevant stakeholders.  Conduct ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling to evaluate the impact of pricing changes and strategic initiatives on business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Digital, Supply Chain Management or a related field.  Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing strategy development, master data management, or related roles, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools, and ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, PowerBI).
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results within established timelines.
• Experience with pricing analytics tools is a plus.
