About the role
Quality Engineering for heating platform is responsible for supporting the Development Team and production in driving Quality activities for new products development, starting from the early phases of the project until the ramp up in the production, as well the routine production or projects (e.g process relocations or change request). This position ensures that Quality problems are effectively and preventively addressed and that the Quality standards are being implemented and adhered to within the production facility. The Internal Quality Engineer enhances customer satisfaction through coordinating with the Engineering team in the correction/improvement of products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
As a (specify role), you’ll be responsible for:
- Part of cross-functional development Team defining and ensuring the respect of the Quality targets evaluating the criticalities given from the market analysis, reliability/endurance results, Audits (1st, 2nd and 3rd party), Homologations of new products by customers, to define and deploy the proper actions with the Team.
- Supports Engineering for qualification of new parts, processes and/or equipment through collection and data analysis. Ensures that the main critical features of components for safety and function are properly identified and reported on the technical documentation for the correct management by Suppliers and manufacturing.
- Follow the scale up of the project in production monitoring the results of line test and leads working teams in problem solving initiatives and issuing the Quality documentation needed.
- Participates in the improvement of the manufacturing process for existing products.
- Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols.
- Provides analysis and explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods and technologies to assure reliability and conformance of products and processes.
- Analyzes and makes recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced products & processes.
- Utilizes PPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.) to identify and make recommendations for managing risk in product development.
- Manages processes to ensure all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance.
- Reviews process control documentation to ensure it is in compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts
Requirements
We are looking for people who as a minimum you must have:
- Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
- Quality assurance experience its appreciated, but this is not a must-have.
- Good team player because they have to collaborate with various departments (e.g. production, engineering and support)
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Very good communication skills (also in English),
- Customer oriented,
- Careful and structured way of working with a proactive mindset.
