In this position, you will be a part of the Indianapolis manufacturing team! Under direct supervision, you will perform various tasks, including assembly, wiring, machine operation, and quality testing, using simple drawings and hand tools to construct furnaces and associated components. You will also maintain production records and ensure parts are aligned to specifications.

We are hiring employees to start immediately as we are ramping up to meet our customer demand. Our base pay is $19.85 an hour!

The shift schedule consists of four, 10-hour workdays plus periodic mandatory overtime. The specific shift will be determined during the first week of employment and it may be either Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. or from 5:00 p.m.- 3:30 a.m. Flexibility is essential, and candidates must be prepared to work either shift as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembling of tubing, pipe fittings, fabricated sheet metal, motors, shafts, fan assemblies.
• Stripping wires, forming, soldering and assembling small electrical components.
• Inspecting, testing, and aligning the product to meet specifications.
• Packing units in cartons or crates where specified.
• Perform other similar or less skilled work.
• Follow all site safety rules specific to their position, as seen in the associate handbook, safety commitments, job specific standard work and any EHS training documents.
• Report all chemical spills and other environmental concerns to supervisor, security or EHS immediately. 

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to successfully complete background check and drug screening
• Minimum age requirement of 18 years old
• Ability to read and interpret standard workplace safety guidelines and work instructions.
• Able to work from simple drawings, follow a sequence of operations and exercise judgment in making minor decisions.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic operations, such as adding and subtracting whole numbers, with accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs repetitively & stand for a minimum of 10 hours a day.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have good problem solving skills
• Ability to follow direction from the Supervisor, Team Lead and/or Team Members.
• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Have reliable transportation
