About the role
Carrier is seeking a seasoned Total Rewards Manager to lead the design and execution of compensation and benefits strategies across Latin America, including Mexico, Brazil, and Chile. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, regional expertise, and the ability to influence senior leadership. You will work closely with HR, business leaders, and global teams to ensure our total rewards programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
As a Total Rewards Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and executing total rewards strategies aligned with business objectives and Carrier’s global framework.
- Designing and managing compensation programs including base pay, incentives, and annual merit processes.
- Leading benefits strategy and harmonization across Latin America, ensuring market competitiveness and compliance.
- Supporting HR and business leaders with incentive compensation tools, guidance, and simplification opportunities.
- Partnering with vendors, brokers, and internal teams to monitor and enhance benefits offerings.
- Leading annual compensation cycles including training, data validation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Driving rewards communication strategies to support employee engagement and retention.
- Ensuring streamlined, employee-friendly processes in collaboration with Global People Services.
- Supporting M&A activities and integration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Continuously gathering feedback to improve and automate total rewards processes.
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who are strategic, analytical, and collaborative. If this sounds like you, get in touch! As a minimum, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in total rewards, with regional expertise in Mexico, Brazil, and Chile.
- Strong project management and change leadership skills.
- Advanced English proficiency; Spanish required, Portuguese a plus.
- Experience influencing senior leaders and managing complex compensation and benefits programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Workday experience preferred.
- HR certifications such as CCP, GRP, SPHR, or GPHR are a plus.
