Brief Description of Key Job Requirements:

This position will provide support for the oversight and coordination operations financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Deliver key Controllership objectives while supporting the Mission & Vision of Carrier Corporation Finance. This position reports to the Snr, Manager, Manufacturing Accounting Commercial

Key Responsibilities

• Executes monthly and quarterly closing activities to deliver results for Carrier Building Technologies
• Execute and deliver operational activities, with a clear focus on reconciliations and balance sheet
• Document and test the environment control to ensure effective processes 
• Perform reviews and analytics on balance sheet results and deep-dive reconciliation reviews
• Oversee and manage shared service activities (CBS, RTR) to confirm timely and accurate monthly deliverables
• Oversee complex accounting activities relating to contract manufacturing agreements to include but not limited to revenue and contra-revenue accounting and assessment of inventory terms and conditions
• Provide accounting guidance on capital expenditures accounting, and other higher-level general accounting activities as defined by Controllership
• Review controls around annual physical inventory and /or cycle count programs
• Perform annual risk assessment
• Participate in ad-hoc tasks/projects as needed
