Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE:CARR), is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst with expertise in Power BI to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge in creating complex and insightful dashboards, with a focus on providing actionable business intelligence.  This role will have the responsibility to support the definition and execution of data analytics in support of the Operations team. The data analyst will work with global, cross disciplinary teams and apply methods to identify and collate data, create visualization and reporting tools to aid in the management of Engineering data, metrics, and portfolio management.

Established professional in Data and Analytic Methods who works to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on work area. Participates in scientific and mathematical principles to collect data across processes and products. Supports in identifying problems, participates in analyzing opportunities through the use of statistical techniques. Prepares datasets and may communicate results to team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize expert-level Power BI skills to design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards.
• Transform raw data into meaningful insights, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights that is relevant for key decision making at all levels, from project portfolio analysis to CTO KPI visualization.

• Integrate data from Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools to provide comprehensive project insights to business leaders, portfolio managers, and NPD teams.
• Work closely with project managers to align dashboards with project goals and objectives.

• Leverage strong database skills to extract data from multiple sources, perform data quality checks and filtering techniques, organize data to the required formats to enable data analysis for different business use cases.

• Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics and visualization.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement enhancements to increase efficiency.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing reports and dashboards.
• Mentor and collaborate with data analysts and data engineers across the organization to develop standards and best practices.

 Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in new product development, gated processes, and/or product commercialization.
• Strong technical writing abilities to provide high-quality documentation and standard work.
• Programing experience using Python, RESTful webservices, and JSON are a plus.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on Power BI, preferably in engineering or finance.
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including the ability to create and maintain complex and interactive dashboards.
• Strong database skills, data manipulation, and data visualization skills.
• Effective communication skills and team working experience.
• Strong problem-solving capability, intellectual curiosity, and analytical thinking.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to lead through influence and drive results under tight timelines.

EDUCATION PREFERRED:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Engineering, Finance) with 3-5 years of experience in reporting, analysis, and data visualization
