Description

Carrier Digital Hub India is looking for a passionate candidate to join our Digital ERP CoE team. As part of Carrier's digital transformation, this role is the Specialist for S4 HANA – CFIN ABAP. The Key responsibilities will be to develop and optimize ABAP solutions for SAP Central Finance, focusing on data integration, error handling, performance tuning, and custom enhancements to support seamless financial data replication and processing.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Data Mapping and Transformation: Develop and maintain ABAP programs for data mapping, transformation, and harmonization between source systems and the Central Finance system, ensuring accurate and efficient replication of financial data.
• Interface Development: Design and implement interfaces using SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation), AIF (Application Interface Framework), and IDocs for seamless data replication and integration across systems.
• Error Handling and Debugging: Troubleshoot and debug issues in replication, including document errors, mapping inconsistencies, and system integration failures, to ensure smooth operations in the CFIN landscape.
• Enhancements and Customization: Develop custom ABAP enhancements for CFIN-specific functionalities, such as document splitting, additional validation rules, or reporting requirements, based on business needs.
• Performance Tuning and Optimization: Optimize ABAP code for high-volume data processing in CFIN to improve system performance, ensuring that replication and reporting processes meet SLA requirements.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the information technology and/or responsibilities within ABAP, CFIN  related area of business.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of proven, hands-on experience in SAP S4 Hana ABAP Project delivery or support
• S4/HANA CFIN/ ABAP knowledge
• Results orientation, striving to bolster personal and team results.
• Effective interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills
• Open and able to work in culturally diverse environment
• Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in consultancy.
• “Agile-development” mindset with customer-focus.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce related field is preferred.
