About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global People Experience lead for Onboarding to join our team and provide strategic and operational direction for this critical “moment that matters” in the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have global HR and complex project management experience to successfully drive ongoing transformation of our end-to-end global Onboarding experience (from offer acceptance through first 90 days). As an Employee Experience Champion, they will partner closely with relevant HR and non-HR stakeholders at all levels of the business to drive simplification, standardization, and automation of Onboarding processes to full maturity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the continuous transformation of the end-to-end onboarding experience, processes and systems on a global scale.
- Embed a customer-centric mindset and co-creation into all aspects of experience design.
- Act as a change agent and thought leader, generating energy and influencing cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive actions.
- Investigate external best practices and benchmark best-in-class onboarding experiences, defining and executing action plans to implement innovative ideas and solutions.
- Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to enhance onboarding practices.
- Develop end to end visibility of the process and key touchpoints, using this knowledge to proactively design KPIs to track progress and measure outcomes, while providing credible insights and forward-thinking solutions to key stakeholders
- Lead projects focusing on customer (employee & hiring leader) experience and continuous improvement of ongoing global onboarding processes to steer improvements in process efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Inspire customers and key stakeholders by crafting tailored communications and engaging storytelling, delivering key messages via focus groups, preview briefings, Town Halls, internal communications platforms and other vehicles.
- Lead collaboration activities across HR, and with Digital Technology and other functions, to integrate onboarding processes with other systems and workflows and ensure alignment with organizational and customer needs.
- Continually review and adjust priorities as business needs change; manage multiple workstreams/project with an agile mindset.
- Lead or partner on additional ad hoc projects linked to employee experience as required.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in managing complex processes, together with practical application of process improvement and project/change management methodologies
- Technology driven, with experience of process design in Workday, Service Now, or equivalent software and tools, preferably in an enterprise environment.
- Ability to think strategically considering the broader business implications, enterprise dependencies, with an awareness of the up/downstream requirements and/or impacts and cost implications.
- Proven Project Management skills, experience leading/managing large scale projects and / or solving complex business problems with scalable solutions
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Excellent storytelling skills; ability to assist others in understanding new ways of working and influencing them to try new ways of doing business without direct control in a matrixed and collaborative environment.
- Experience documenting processes, assessing useful key metrics, critical thinking, and very comfortable “living in the details” of the process.
