About the role

Chiller Technicians able to support on installation, testing, repair and maintaining various types of Chillers, used for air-conditioning . They are required perform on-the-spot, preventive and emergency maintenance on a variety of Commercial Airconditioning equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chiller units (centrifugal, screw, scroll, and reciprocating types).

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in chillers and HVAC systems.

• Monitor system performance and efficiency, making adjustments as needed.

• Inspect, test, and calibrate system controls including temperature, pressure, and flow.

• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.

• Maintain records of all service and maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and environmental regulations.

• Work closely with engineering, facility, and building management teams for system coordination.

• Respond to emergency breakdowns and participate in on-call rotations if required.

Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent.

• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC systems with specific focus on chiller operations.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical circuits and components.

• Ability to operate diagnostic tools and read technical documentation.

• Basic computer skills for reporting and maintenance logs.

• Physical ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying environmental conditions.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in HVAC systems maintenance (preferred but not mandatory).

• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) or energy management tools.

• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with vendors and other technicians.
