About the role

The America’s Data Privacy & CoE Support role will be responsible for providing programmatic support to the Data Governance CoE, as well as day to day privacy work in the Americas. 

Act as the Project Management Office (PMO) for CoE projects, ensuring they are aligned with CoE goals and objectives.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Americas Privacy Lead in reviewing and approving Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Follow up on Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) to ensure timely and accurate responses.
• Develop and deploy data privacy training programs for the region to enhance awareness and compliance.
• Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert (SME) for Business Unit (BU) Lawyers regarding data privacy, data governance, and intellectual property (IP) matters.
• Triage and address relevant IP and data governance topics within the region.
• Develop and update relevant Center of Excellence (CoE) documentation in accordance with Customer Experience (CX) principles.
• Follow up with relevant stakeholders in the CoE to ensure alignment and progress on initiatives.
• Coordinate the update and follow up of relevant CoE process-related documentation with the CoE Stakeholders across the regions.
• Assist the CoE staff on specific projects, as needed.

Requirements

Background and working knowledge (at least 5 years) on:

• Data Privacy programmatic processes (non-legal advice).
• Carrier Excellence tools.
• PMO tools.
• Process Automation.
• Administrative tasks.
• Suppliers set up and payment process.
• Organizational and follow up skills are required.
• Ability to prioritize needs and work independently.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Valid visa and passport.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

The preferred candidate will:

• Be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Have expertise in Carrier Excellence tools.
• Have expertise in Project Management Tools.
• Proficiency General Knowledge in AI and LLM Prompting, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Poe, Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Agent Creation.
• Certification related to technology or artificial intelligence (preferred).
