About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Project Manager to enable delivery of technical solutions based on Autronica’s World Class product portfolio. The focus of the Project Manager position/role is to understand the customer commitments, lead the design process for functional solutions, oversee the delivery process and finalize the contracts per customer requirements and Autronica’s best interest.

The position is based in our Maritime division in Trondheim. This role will have a great opportunity to work in an international business with clients locally as well as globally.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager you will:

• Manage (plan, execute and close) assigned projects in compliance with customer contracts, Autronica Policies, Standards and Procedures with allocated resources.
• Lead a project execution team of 3-4 people.
• Execute projects according to the financial targets/budget.
• Manage customers and act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Manage subcontractors and internal resources allocated to the project.

Qualifications

You should have a winning attitude as well as an inherent interest in developing customer relationships. You have the ability to balance need for progress with the quality control safety systems depend upon. 

• MSc/BSc Degree in engineering or similar. Lack of education can be compensated with extensive and relevant experience.
• Certification as a Project Manager: Prince or similar.
• Experience and documented performance in a similar role working preferably on safety critical systems.
• Fluent written and oral, both English and Norwegian.
• Experience working with diverse teams in different locations.
