About this role

Carrier is looking for Computer Engineering/Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or other Information Technology majors with demonstrated leadership ability and strong academic performance to join our Digital Technology Leadership Program! The Digital Technology Leadership Program (DTLP) offers graduates an opportunity to deliver real results in the areas of business process, infrastructure, and product development, through 3 eight-month rotations across Carrier business units.

Our commitment to you is to provide front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch your capabilities and accelerate your professional development. In addition to the hands-on experience gained through the rotation assignments, Associates will receive high-caliber training, mentoring, and guidance from leading Carrier executives, current DTLP Associates, and DTLP alumni, in order to build a strong and lasting global network of colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

During the candidate's time in the program, other rotational assignments are available in Digital Technology’s departments throughout Refrigeration, Commercial HVAC, Residential HVAC, and Carrier Corporate Headquarters. Our dedication to you is to provide front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch your capabilities and improve your learning.

Each Associate will have the opportunity to experience different functional rotations within 3 of the following areas: Cybersecurity & Risk Management, Data Science & Analytics, Enterprise Business Systems, Infrastructure Services, Product & Project Management, Digital Products & Design, Software Development, and AI/ML. Rotations will be located and assigned throughout the program in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and Atlanta, GA.

Participants will develop critical skills in the following disciplines:

  • Agile methodologies

  • Change management

  • Customer engagement

  • Cloud-native solutions

  • Enterprise cybersecurity

  • Enterprise systems architecture

  • Executive presence & communications

  • IoT & telematics

  • Machine learning & AI

  • Project management

  • Product management

  • SaaS applications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, data science, cybersecurity, computer science or digital technology

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

  • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA

  • Must be geographically mobile and have the ability to relocate for rotations.

  • To be eligible for the program, you must be a 2024 or 2025 graduate of the degree in the relevant field and start in the Leadership Program June 2025

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a STEM-related field

  • A proactive and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

  • Team player with a positive, collaborative work ethic 

  • Proven track record in project management with excellent communication skills, team building, stakeholder management, and adaptability

  • Exceptional ability to prioritize, facilitate, and drive key initiatives.

  • Strong technical skills in any of the following: UI design, software development, data analytics, data science, Cloud infrastructure, networking, or cybersecurity

  • Digitally savvy with an interest in cutting-edge digital trends
