About This Role
We are looking for a Commercial HVAC Service Manager that Supervises Field Service Technicians, manages day-to-day priorities, solves client issues received by the team. Optimizes manpower and resources, responds to complaints of customers, and escalates key issues to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall team safety performance and adherence to established programs and protocols
  • Lead the career development of the assigned team including project managers and the technical team
  • Forecast, monitor, and document financial performance against plan
  • Coordinates, prioritizes and resolves issues encountered by a more experienced team.
  • Optimizes the usage of manpower, standard time, equipment and energy of more experienced team
  • Escalates critical/complex issues that will impact the business
  • Manages more experienced team according to established programs and objectives.
  • Quality Issue Management
  • Contacts customer, collects feedback, and establishes and maintains good relationship with customers
  • Responds to key customer complaints and carries out customer satisfaction investigations to ensure establishment of appropriate improvement plans
  • Drive team discovery, quoting, approvals, and executions of field service work, enabling account expansion opportunities and T&M growth within assigned portfolio targets
  • Drive financial results as determined by area management for each product/project assigned.
  • Act as account consultant with assigned clients. Drive account improvements, identify expansions, and partner with sales and leadership to build technology roadmaps with account stakeholders ensuring a premier position within our customer base
  • Drive technological improvements within the service portfolio. Perform discovery through routine client touchpoints and engage account executives to develop opportunities to closure
  • Own the successful on-time renewal of all Planned Service Agreements
  • Coordinate and manage work to be performed for the customer
  • Ensure profitable execution of all service delivery plans and owner direct installation work
  • Effectively manage cash flow, costs billings and receivables.
  • Consistently oversee billings of portfolio in a timely manner in a format that meets the customer’s expectations
  • Maintain profitability goals and positive cash flow within the portfolio
  • Ensure department’s timely completion of required training

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of Service Management Experience
  • 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel within territory to job sites and customer locations up to 50% of the time. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Building Automation and Controls Experience
  • Working knowledge of and understanding of commercial HVAC systems
  • Ability to navigate SalesForce.com, ServiceMax, ERP, and other business applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be well organized and excellent time management skills
  • Must be able to multitask – be able to work on multiple tasks/ projects at one time
  • Strong ability to problem solve
  • Able to build and foster a strong and proactive team environment
  • Able to coach and mentor employees
  • Must be well organized and excellent time management skills
