Det-Tronics is a part of the Global Fire Products business of Carrier and has a global footprint with manufacturing sites in the U.S. and sales presence in all key geographies.

We’re seeking a Demand Planner/SIOP Analyst to join our Det-Tronics team in MN.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES –

  • Participates in the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP in order to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.
  • Supports the development of indicators that enable visibility to short and long-term market trends and demand.
  • Identifies appropriate demand streams and supports in establishing data relationship linkages.
  • Works with product development leaders and sales and marketing teams to develop demand forecasts.
  • Supports in planning capacity and demand fulfillment with plant manufacturing operations.
  • Works with manufacturing team and participates in the development of monthly production volume planning using the business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined capacity parameters.
  • Participates in establishing clear and robust metrics to measure progress through process improvements for SIOP.
  • Will be responsible for tracking appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.
  • Participates in developing strategies for materials planning and SIOP
  • Supports in the development of processes and plans to improve supply capabilities.
  • Participates in identifying and developing new technologies to improve materials planning and SIOP capability, sustainability, and reliability.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS –

  • HS Diploma or GED with 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning), or materials management to include: master planning, scheduling or forecasting or a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Economics or Business or Finance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS –

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrating creativity and technical expertise.  
  • Ability to influence, collaborate and work across all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.   
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Office, PowerPoint)  
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Power BI and or SQL, JDE (or other) systems.
  • High degree of independence  
  • Problem solving attitude with focus on teamwork  
  • Relentless drive to overachieve, outstanding team player, strategic vision with ability to execute. 
  • Ability to work on complex problems in an ambiguous environment
