Sales Specialist

Summary
Experienced professional in Disribution Channel Management. Participates in various distribution channel management activities and customer relationship management.
Responsible for representing the company's interests and building business relationships to enhance distribution channel management performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Administration and Marketing are preferred) with 2 to 5+ years’ experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in technical sales in the Fire, Security, Automation and or Digital Solutions
  • Customer centric, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proactive and able to balance multiple priorities
  • Able to build strong relationships, across industries and functions
  • Excellent communicator oral, written, etc.
  • Competent understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce and ERP
  • Fluent in English
  • Native Spanish speaking.
  • Base in Mexico City.
  • Availability to travel throughout the Mexican Republic.



Job Description

  • Proactively identifies prospective for distribution and channel management teams and develops a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet the customer needs.
  • Conducts business development activities for distribution and channel management teams within defined customer segment to support the business strategy.
  • Identifies bid opportunities, participates in the preparation of bid responses and the negotiation with potential customers.
  • Develops new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.
  • Proactively supports and develops prospective projects with assigned customers and presents to sales business development team.
  • Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.
  • Attends trade shows, presents new products to increase the visibility of the organization. Prepares workshops for assigned customers

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prospect target verticals for sales opportunities, focused on maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Develop new client relationships based on professional credibility, customer’s segment and product knowledge
  • Identify and participate in indutry organizations, trade shows ands
  •  events in order to promote the company, products and services
  • Collaborate with internal teams in order to ensure alignment with customer needs and expectations
  • Forecast, monitor and document sales performance against plan
  • Works with customers to develop product specs for future projects. Prospects, develops, and expands business, responds to proposal requests from customers and develops proposals for presentation to customers
