Job Summary:

Seasoned Software Engineering professional, working independently. Conducts moderately complex tests and debugs control and diagnostic systems. Undertakes multidisciplinary research, and works on system capabilities analysis to determine end user needs.

Role Purpose:

• Develop HMI for Viessmann products including but not limited to heat pumps, HEMS, boiler solutions
• Develop embedded products

Job Responsibilities:

• Detailing of requirements in cooperation with Requirements Engineers and SW architects,
• Designing of features’ architecture to be reusable between several User Interfaces and testable,
• Coding of low level layers of our platform, which includes drivers, HAL, bootloaders, communication protocols - C and C++,
• Coding of Qt based HMI applications in embedded Linux environment
• Coding of higher layer features and corresponding unit tests - C++
• Reviewing of peers’ work (code and architecture review),
• Coding of supportive tools, build scripts etc. mainly in Python ≥ 3.8,
• Supporting analysis and resolving of bugs reported from integration tests

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience in mid scale software projects,
• Fluent in modern C , Intermediate in modern C++
• Good knowledge of Qt Framework and
• Knowledge of Python,
• Knowledge of how to create applications for dedicated embedded platform, how to design choices impact code size, RAM consumption and overall performance,
• Experience in Embedded Linux environment and tools
• Knowledge of how to code around real-time operating systems, inter-thread communication and synchronization etc.,
• Knowledge of how to architecture - practical knowledge on object oriented design and design patterns,
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
