About this role:

Carrier Rental Systems provides year-round solutions for temperature control, power generation, or special event needs by renting and selling HVAC equipment during emergency breakdowns, planned outages, equipment retrofits, and plant expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, troubleshoot, and clean HVAC equipment and related products, including but not limited to air-cooled and water-cooled systems up to 1,000 tons and Hot water boilers up to 200 hp.
• Maintain, service, and install rental systems 
• Maintain accurate field service reports, including refrigerant tracking and timekeeping logs
• Regular use of power tools, hand tools, and other mechanical equipment to service and repair rental systems as needed 
• Operate equipment vehicles, including forklifts 
• Load and unload trucks 
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, subcontractors, and customers 
• Perform other duties to support the business as needed, including inventory count, general maintenance, cleaning, lifting, and organizing

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of Commercial HVAC experience
• 2+ years of experience with Chillers
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid Driver's License
• EPA Universal license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire or an EPA 608 Universal license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire

Preferred Requirements:

• Associate degree or technical certification in HVAC
• HVAC Rentals experience
• Forklift Certification or the ability to obtain one
