About This Role

Carrier's Global Enterprise Solutions team serves its most important customers with Carrier's broad portfolio of products, solutions, and services. It identifies improvement opportunities and provides actional insights to deliver better customer outcomes in health, safety, efficiency, and occupant experience.

We seek an Enterprise Account Manager - Data Centers & Industrial who will own the Carrier strategy for Enterprise accounts, manage account stakeholders, lead or support opportunity pursuits, and coordinate the account teams within the Global Data Center segment while leveraging the broad building systems portfolio of Carrier business units (HVAC, Building Automation, and Energy Performance Solutions).

The candidate, in collaboration with Carrier business units, will drive growth by calling on senior-level operations decision-makers, architects, consulting engineers and contractors. They will develop and identify opportunities to engage in a consultative manner with customers around Carrier solutions and services while achieving business growth targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the assigned vertical industry and assigned accounts

  • Evolve and drive a holistic global account strategy based on customer and vertical insights

  • Create and update formalized Enterprise account plans both globally & regionally

  • Identify, Land and Expand Enterprise accounts/opportunities

  • Identify net-new opportunities

  • Pursue qualified leads

  • Persuade customers to purchase Carrier products & solutions

  • Coordinate Carrier personnel (Global & Regional BU Sellers & Leadership) throughout the sales process

  • In collaboration with other Carrier resources, develop tailored solutions to meet specific customer needs

  • Work closely with BU sellers to identify cross-BU expansion opportunities

  • Understand and influence customer's investment roadmap relevant to Carrier products & solutions to drive expansion

  • Expand relationships within assigned accounts to access new decision makers and uncover new opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 8 years experience in developing enterprise accounts

  • Ability to travel up to 25%-50% including International

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales/Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline

  • Proven experience developing and managing Data Center / Industrial user enterprise accounts highly preferred

  • Mechanical/HVAC/Controls experience preferred, but segment experience in other facility aspects or solutions acceptable

  • Ability to engage with senior executives and create demand for new solutions

  • Proven experience and ability to develop and execute consultative sales strategies that drive value growth for customers

  • Ability to lead multi-functional teams to resolve unusually complex problems

  • Proven ability to influence and work effectively across all levels of the organization

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities and ambiguity

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal across a wide audience. This includes the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical teams

  • Strong negotiation skills: ability to understand contractual, legal language

  • Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, & Copilot)

  • Excellent project management skills and execution

  • Ability to communicate with high altitude customer stakeholders (e.g., C-Suite)

  • Strong collaboration, transparency, and team leadership capabilities

  • Ability to quickly adapt and adjust approach and solution to customer needs

  • Ability to deliver software / recurring sales, not just equipment & services
