About the role
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer for a greenfield project (Frontend) using Flutter/Dart technology. Our goal is implementation of an app dedicated for installers to help them in everyday work. It will be One Tool where the user can perform all necessary service activities and brings full guidance for on-site and remote activities. The newest version of Flutter together with Intuitive design and consistency across platforms makes it possible to run on desktops and mobile devices like smartphones or tablets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation tests of flutter applications
- Daily cooperation with an experienced development team in the Scrum-Agile methodology within 2-week sprints
- Active presence at scrum team meetings: daily, refinement, review, retrospective, planning
- Ability to adapt to dynamic working conditions, e.g. in the case of ad hoc tasks assigned to us by the component owner or product owner
- Exchanging knowledge during joint meetings regarding the technology we use, e.g. tech talk
- Willingness to help each other out when needed, also cross-teams and cross-company
- Design and implementation of automated UI tests (Patrol)
- Creation and maintenance of test documentation: test plans, scenarios
- test cases, test reports, release notes
- Regression testing
- Error reporting
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience with programming language (e.g.: Javascript/Typescript, Flutter, Java, Kotlin, Swift)
- Experience with framework like JUnit, Espresso/Kaspresso, Compose, XCUITest, nice to have: experience with Patrol
- Knowledge of REST API testing
- Experience with testing tools (Jira, Postman, Burp Suite)
- Knowledge of Jenkins
- Experience with Angular is a plus
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Strong knowledge of relevant technology or domain and ability to use it in practice
- Works without supervision
- Regularly shares already acquired knowledge and experience with others in the closest and wider team
- Actively contributes ideas, solutions and improvements on the project level
- Generates tasks even from complex requirements, divides complex issues into smaller parts
- Consistently delivers work in expected quality, communicates within the team about the status
- Constructively challenges the why and asks why not
- Openness and positive attitude is very desirable
Education:
Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience
Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work
University Degree or equivalent
A minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience
OR
An advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience
