Your role

Do you want to join us in helping to build a safer world with our unique fire and safety products? This is your opportunity to join our team as a DigitalProduct Manager for Autronica’s Software and Digital Solutions. In this role you will work closely with our R&D team based in Trondheim as well as our international engineering teams based in Poland and India. The main goal in this position is to secure a successful and effective product line development and ensure compliance to applicable standards and regulations.

In this role, your key responsibilities will be the following:

  • Developing and implementing highly sophisticated business strategies relating to the development of new products, technologies, services, to ensure profitability and positioning in the market.
  • Evaluating sales, segment, channel, financial and product performance to ensure successful and effective product line development.
  • Conducting industry, segment, channel, customer and competitor analysis and provide organized data valuable for optimizing Autronica’s product portfolio strategy.
  • Participating in cross functional development/project teams.
  • Defining detailed product strategies, specifications , pricing and launch/phase out plans to ensure sustainable profitability and market success.
  • Support sales events and actions when required.

Who we’re looking for

As part of our team, you’ll have the following:

  • Master’s degree in IT or another relevant field.
  • Experience in product management roles for software & services.
  • Experience with full life cycle IT based product management.
  • In-depth experience with Agile development and SCRUM methodology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills as well as attention to detail.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of the business.
  • Ability to make decisions and see them through to completion.

Nice if you also have:

  • Additional Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Experience within Safety, Security or Process industry.
  • Fluent Norwegian.
