About the role
Digital Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for Operations in Japan plays a pivotal role in aligning digital strategies with business objectives within the corporate sector. This position bridges the gap between technology and business, ensuring that digital solutions effectively support and enhance corporate operations, processes, and goals. By fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, the Digital BRM drives innovation, identifies opportunities for digital transformation, and facilitates the adoption of Global technologies and solution to drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Operations BRM, you’ll be responsible for:
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with corporate leadership to understand business priorities, challenges, and opportunities. Align digital initiatives with corporate strategies to drive maximum value and impact.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across various corporate functions including finance, HR, legal, and compliance. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding their needs and advocating for digital solutions that meet their requirements.
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements for digital projects and initiatives. Translate business needs into actionable plans for the digital team.
- Solution Delivery: Partner with digital teams, including IT, development, and data analytics, to deliver innovative digital solutions that address business challenges and enhance corporate operations.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption and integration of digital solutions within corporate functions. Provide guidance, training, and support to stakeholders as needed.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor the performance of digital initiatives, measuring their impact on corporate KPIs and ROI. Make recommendations for optimization and improvement as necessary.
- Technology Trends: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in digital transformation. Provide insights and recommendations to corporate leadership on opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that digital solutions comply with relevant regulations and corporate policies. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any compliance or risk-related concerns.
Requirements
We are looking for people who are experienced Enterprise Business Systems professional. Responsible for managing or performing work associated with digital business analysis. If this is you, get in touch.
As a minimum you must have:
- Fluent in Japanese and English
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Proven experience in business relationship management, digital transformation, or a related role
- Strong understanding of corporate functions and processes, with the ability to identify opportunities for digital optimization.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, strong presentation skills, and the ability to effectively interact with people at all levels.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, matrix teams in multi-cultural setup to achieve strategic goals. Proactive, self-motivated and a team player
- Strong understanding of project management principles and project management skills.
- Ability to handle several projects at a given time.
- Proven experience in management of outsourced vendors during project implementation, system integration and support.
- Master/Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience related to IT Management or other information technology. At least 5 years of senior leadership role in a multi-national company with a regional responsibility
- Proven track record in successfully implementing ERP, CRM systems in the manufacturing industry offering complex configurable products.
- Experience and knowledge in major ERP/PDM/CRM/Data Lake, BI/SAP/Salesforce/eCommerce/Digital Marketing/Service System/Digital Factory/IoT Solution etc.)
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
- Good knowledge of cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud etc.).
- Good knowledge in Data Privacy, Cyber Security
- Good knowledge in Agile methodology, preferably certified Scrum master
