About the role

This position is for a Service Sales Representative, who is responsible for pursuing opportunities for quick turn projects to keep our customers operating effectively, supporting various Outside Sales activities and customer relationship management. Responsible for supporting the company's interests and establishing business relationships to enhance outside sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Establishes prospects and develops a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet the customer needs.
  • Responsible for leveraging existing Service Agreement Customers / Non-Service Agreement Customer base for service repair / Upgrade opportunities.
  • Aids in and supports business development activities for prospects within defined customer segment to support the business strategy.
  • Provide leads for service agreement sellers / Service Modernization team when dealing with customers not under contract
  • Utilize SFDC to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipeline.
  • Prospects bid opportunities, participates in the preparation of bid responses and the negotiation with potential customers.
  • Develops personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.
  • Establish and build credibility with knowledge of Carrier products/solutions.
  • Develop and sustain customer relationships Clearly articulate the value of Carrier’s value offerings and how they map to the customers’ needs.
  • Ability to detect the Customer’s buying stage and adjust selling accordingly.
  • Attends trade shows at times to increase the visibility of the organization and potentially influence prospects.
  • Achieve order booking in a timely manner meeting consistently sales metrics and annual targets.

Requirements

We are looking for people who has a passion for sales and possesses great communication skills. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Minimum Degree holder.
  • Preferably 2-3 years experiences in Sales or Engineering, candidates without prior relevant experience are welcome to apply.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Able to communicate with stakeholders of all levels.
