About the role

This position is for an Engineer who will be assisting Production Manager in achieving Production target, Production quality, Operational cost effectiveness and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Production Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Continuously develop productivity improvement and lower labor input while maintaining labor effectiveness.

  • Monitor and master-listing the calibration of the measure/testing equipment/tools in Production.

  • Suggest corrective measures & improve quality defects related to workmanship issue.

  • Develop good work practice in employees and processes to achieve product quality without sacrificing output eg. Meeting daily target & Weekly production plan.

  • Conduct training for workers on Cx awareness, quality policies, manufacturing instruction etc.

  • Lead Production department in achieving Cx, ISO & EH&S requirements.

  • Work with supervisors in prepares for sufficient skill competent workers for line operations and line balancing (Work with ME & QA for workers' training on special processes).

  • Monitor the SOE expenditures in Production Department.

  • Monitor the implementing of manufacturing changes such as ECN, NPCA, IPOSA etc.

  • Prepare Production Weekly report (CSH/unit) & Monthly report.

  • Monitor L&B Productivity target & enter improvement projects onto planner.

  • To lead/participate in company's activities such as Cx, EH&S, Kaizen Events etc.

  • To perform tasks deem suitable and assigned by superiors.

Requirements

We are looking for people who possesses great communication skills and is proficient in Microsoft Office. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Degree in Production / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years relevant working experience

  • Possesses good communication skills to be able to communicate with all levels of staffs.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
