About the Role
The Sr. Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the plant maintenance strategy to maximize equipment reliability, asset performance, and operational efficiency. This role will drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs while ensuring the continuity of manufacturing operations and supporting the plant's safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments, with deep expertise in TPM, industrial machinery, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sr. Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for:
Leading all maintenance operations to ensure maximum equipment uptime, reliability, and operational performance.
Developing and implementing TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) strategies, preventive maintenance programs, and predictive maintenance initiatives.
Managing maintenance activities for large presses, benders, and other critical manufacturing equipment.
Minimizing equipment downtime through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and reliability-focused maintenance practices.
Leading maintenance teams and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Driving operational excellence initiatives to improve equipment performance, productivity, and cost efficiency.
Monitoring and improving key maintenance metrics, including OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and equipment availability.
Collaborating with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams to support plant performance objectives.
Leading the maintenance strategy for plant infrastructure, utilities, and production assets, ensuring equipment reliability and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Supporting capital projects, equipment installations, and manufacturing modernization initiatives.
Requirements
We are looking for people who are strategic leaders, results-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about operational excellence. If this sounds like you, we'd like to hear from you.
As a minimum you must have:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in maintenance leadership roles.
Strong experience in automotive manufacturing or high-volume industrial environments.
Proven experience implementing TPM, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability programs.
Hands-on experience with large presses, benders, and industrial manufacturing equipment.
Experience leading maintenance teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control, and operational excellence methodologies.
Advanced English communication skills.
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
Experience with automated assembly lines.
Knowledge of Minitab, Six Sigma, or other statistical analysis tools.
Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations or large-scale production environments.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM certifications.
