  • Supporting Transfer of Work (TOW) activities and sourcing initiatives with contract manufacturers.

  • Managing assigned commodities, including planning, procurement, and expediting of components to meet production and sales schedules.

  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as Sales, Scheduling, Production, Customer Service, Quality, Sourcing, Finance, Shipping/Receiving, and Engineering to ensure effective supply chain operations.

  • Maintaining optimal inventory levels through accurate purchase orders and schedule agreements to ensure on‑time delivery.

  • Analyzing MRP and SAP data to support inventory targets and supplier performance, including report generation and root cause analysis.

  • Resolving Accounts Payable issues to ensure timely and accurate supplier payments.

  • Managing supplier quality issues, including coordination of returns and corrective actions for non‑conforming materials.

  • Supporting management with assigned projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in Buyer, Materials Planner, or related supply chain roles, including exposure to Accounts Payable.

  • Strong experience with MRP systems and inventory management.

  • Proficiency in SAP (preferred).

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience supporting Transfer of Work (TOW) or supplier transitions.

  • Experience working with contract manufacturers.

  • Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools.
