About the role
As a Senior Value Stream Manager (VSM), you will lead end-to-end manufacturing operations within a defined production unit, acting as a mini‑operations leader. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, and cost, while driving continuous improvement and innovation. You will play a key role in aligning production strategies with business goals and delivering results that directly impact customer satisfaction and plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Value Stream Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading daily manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and production targets

  • Driving cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects aligned with Lean Manufacturing principles

  • Managing production scheduling and ensuring adherence to established manufacturing plans

  • Optimizing workflow sequencing (build & delivery) to maximize efficiency and resource utilization

  • Resolving material, logistics, and operational issues to maintain uninterrupted production flow

  • Establishing and tracking performance objectives and KPIs to drive productivity and operational excellence

  • Leading innovation initiatives within manufacturing, including process improvements and new technologies

  • Aligning operational execution with business strategy, ensuring results in cost, quality, and delivery

Requirements

We are looking for people who are results-driven leaders with strong operational and strategic mindset in manufacturing environments. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, production leadership, or value stream managemen

  • Experience in manufacturing operations, production leadership, or value stream management

  • Proven experience managing teams in industrial environments (including unionized workforce)

  • Advanced English proficiency

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Experience leading cost control initiatives and managing operational budgets

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience in HVAC manufacturing environments

  • Background in automotive or metal-mechanic industries

  • Experience leading transformation projects within Lean organizations
