About the role

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management for the Control Box category plays a critical role within our Direct Sourcing organization for HVAC. This position leads category strategy development, supplier relationship management, productivity initiatives, and strategic sourcing activities that directly impact product cost, quality, supplier resilience, and operational performance across CSA.

You will influence major business decisions, negotiate high‑value contracts, drive cost optimization opportunities, and contribute to building a robust supply base that supports Carrier’s long‑term growth.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing category strategies and operational goals for the Control Box category (Direct Sourcing – HVAC).

  • Implementing new supply chain management programs, processes, and tools aligned with the global Supply Chain strategy.

  • Driving sourcing initiatives that deliver cost‑saving opportunities and annual productivity targets.

  • Identifying opportunities for outsourcing, supply chain process improvements, and supplier optimization.

  • Developing cost benchmarks, market intelligence, and financial analysis to support yearly budgeting and sourcing decisions.

  • Leading contract negotiations to achieve optimal procurement value.

  • Managing and strengthening relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance, quality, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and operational needs.

  • Enhancing supplier resilience and identifying risk mitigation strategies across the category.

  • Supporting strategic projects that impact cost, operational efficiency, and overall supply chain performance.

Role Purpose

To lead category strategy, supplier engagement, and sourcing execution for the Control Box category in CSA, ensuring productivity, supplier resilience, continuity of supply, and strong operational performance aligned with Carrier’s global procurement goals.

Minimum Requirements

As a minimum, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing.
    OR
    Master’s degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of supply chain management and related disciplines.

  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation, supplier management, and sourcing strategy development.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to link supply chain strategy with business impact.

  • Experience working with global suppliers and cross‑functional teams.

  • Advanced English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have)

  • Experience in HVAC, electronics, or manufacturing categories.

  • Experience managing highly technical components such as Control Boxes or similar assemblies.

  • Project management experience.
