About the role

The Senior Associate, Accounts Receivable is responsible for ensuring timely collection of outstanding customer balances while maintaining healthy aging metrics and supporting accurate cash flow. This role plays a critical part in the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process by performing effective follow-ups, resolving billing disputes, and building strong, professional relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Associate, Accounts Receivable, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Perform proactive collection activities through phone calls, emails, and customer portals.
  • Monitor and analyze aging reports, prioritizing overdue and high-risk accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve customer disputes related to billing, pricing, deductions, or invoice discrepancies.
  • Document all collection activities accurately in the system, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
  • Collaborate closely with Billing, Cash Application, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve issues impacting payments.
  • Support month-end close activities through reporting, review, and reconciliation of receivables.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved cases in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly reports on collection performance and action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounts Receivable and OTC processes.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and conversational).
  • Strong Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.

It would be nice if you have:

  • SAP experience.
  • Power BI or data visualization tools.
  • Salesforce or similar CRM exposure.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage stress and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
