About the role

As a PFEP Materials Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring Plant-For-Every-Part (PFEP) material readiness by maintaining accurate master data, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting manufacturing continuity across multiple production sites. Working closely with buyers, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams, you will drive inventory health, reduce excess and obsolete materials, and ensure the right materials are available at the right time to support customer commitments and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As a PFEP Materials Management Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Driving PFEP material readiness by maintaining accurate master data, including safety stock, ABC/XYZ classifications, MOQ, lot sizes, planning methods, lead times, and replenishment parameters.

  • Managing inventory health through safety stock optimization, working stock management, inventory projections, and continuous monitoring of inventory performance.

  • Leading initiatives to reduce Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory by partnering with engineering, material teams, and other manufacturing sites to maximize material utilization.

  • Supporting Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) performance and collaborating with buyers to ensure material orders, planning parameters, and ERP data remain accurate and up to date.

  • Supporting pre-buy strategies, evaluating forecast risks, supplier lead times, and inventory exposure while driving continuous improvement across materials management processes.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are proactive problem solvers with a strong sense of ownership, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, APICS, Lean Manufacturing, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in Materials Management, Material Planning, Inventory Management, Supplier Management, Procurement, Planning, or Delivery Assurance within a manufacturing environment.

  • Advanced English communication skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred or Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Strong knowledge of inventory optimization, safety stock, master data management, MRP planning, supplier capacity planning, manufacturing processes, and a valid U.S. visa.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience working in Manufacturing, Electronics, Automotive, HVAC, or Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environments.

  • Experience managing complex BOMs, high-mix/low-volume operations, PFEP, or Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).

  • Experience driving inventory optimization initiatives, reducing Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory, and supporting cross-functional supply chain operations.

Benefits

We offer a competitive total rewards package that may include other benefits and well-being programs. Offerings vary by role and location and are designed to support employees’ health, security, and success.

If you require a reasonable accommodation to complete the application process, participate in an interview, or otherwise engage in the hiring process, please contact us at [email protected]. We will make every effort to meet your needs in accordance with applicable laws.
