About the Role

The Industrial Engineer one has the responsibility of analyze operations, design efficient production workflows & reducing manufacturing inefficiencies, using lean tools and practices; in addition to supporting the introduction of new products through the creation, training & maintenance of new procedures and standard methods.

As a successful Industrial Engineer, the objective is to design flow systems that maximize productivity, reduce wastefulness and production issues, thus ensuring optimal use of allocated operational resources, as well as safe and high-quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze/design cell operations & workflow sequences to meet established expectations, while maintaining optimal efficiency levels.

  • Lead the implementation of lean processes in workstations, supporting a lean vision to reduce inventory, lead-times and waste, increasing the productivity and profitability of the site.

  • Support the introduction of new products through the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of procedures, methods, and work standards.

  • Train personnel concerning all activities in production operations, as well as fostering a safety- and quality-focused approach to assigned activities.

  • Develop value stream maps and eliminate process waste through the implementation of lean techniques & IE tools.

  • Drive measurable improvements supporting metrics for customer delivery, productivity, and product flow.

  • Utilizes analytical skills to identify opportunities for productivity and cost avoidance, through capacity analysis and line balancing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree. Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic engineering or related field.

  • +3 years of experience in production or manufacturing environments.

  • Proficiency in conversational English, both written and spoken, is required.

  • Candidates must have a valid passport and visa.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge & experience with Lean tools/methodologies

  • Core Tools (PFMEA & Control plan mainly)

  • Design (Autocad)

  • SAP / ERP systems

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

  • Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, A3, etc.).

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of leadership.

  • Experience collaborating on projects to introduce new products, as well as continuous improvement focus
