From the beginning, we’ve led in inventing new technologies and entirely new industries. Today, we continue to lead because we have a world-class, diverse workforce that puts the customer at the center of everything we do.

About the role

As a Material Flow Engineer (NPI), you will support the implementation of material flow strategies for new products and production lines within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role combines manufacturing engineering, supply chain, SAP MRP configuration, and logistics flow optimization to ensure operational continuity and efficient material deployment.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Planning, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to support New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Material Flow Engineer (NPI), you’ll be responsible for:

  • Creating and maintaining parameters for new part numbers generated through ECNs.

  • Configuring and maintaining SAP Material Master and MRP-related parameters.

  • Designing and supporting material flow strategies for new production lines.

  • Defining purchasing methods, supermarkets, material areas, and logistics container strategies.

  • Supporting layout definition and internal material flow optimization.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful NPI implementation.

  • Monitoring material flow implementation metrics and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Supporting inventory control, purchasing, and manufacturing continuity activities.

  • Assisting in problem-solving activities related to material availability and operational flow.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are analytical, proactive, collaborative, and eager to grow within a manufacturing and supply chain environment. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or material planning environments.

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of SAP MM / MRP and Material Master processes.

  • Understanding of material flow concepts such as warehouse flow, supermarkets, line feeding, or purchasing methods.

  • Intermediate English level for documentation and collaboration with global teams.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience supporting NPI (New Product Introduction) projects.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, or continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Exposure to layout definition, material areas, or logistics flow optimization.

Benefits
