About the role
As a Manufacturing Leader, you will be responsible for leading and developing the manufacturing team, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality operations. This role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement, cost reduction initiatives, and process excellence while supporting new product introduction and sustaining existing manufacturing processes.
Your leadership will directly impact productivity, quality, cost competitiveness, and operational stability within the plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a Manufacturing Leader, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and coordinating the manufacturing team to execute critical activities related to production, maintenance, quality, EHS, and training.

  • Driving continuous improvement and cost reduction strategies to increase productivity, reduce waste, and mitigate quality risks.

  • Ensuring manufacturing team participation in PMO, Passport, and PCR activities for the evaluation of new products, concepts, designs, prototypes, and testing.

  • Managing and tracking activities and budget related to maintenance, process improvements, and manufacturing equipment.

  • Ensuring process standards, procedures, and specifications are documented, published, and kept up to date.

  • Ensuring compliance with Carrier Excellence, Quality Management Systems (ISO), and EHS requirements.

  • Managing and controlling the department budget.

  • Managing tooling and manufacturing resources to support efficient and stable operations.

  • Supporting structured problem‑solving activities and cross‑functional collaboration.


Requirements
We are looking for hands‑on, results‑driven leaders with strong technical and people‑management skills who thrive in manufacturing environments.
As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical‑Administrative Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.

  • Approximately 5 years of experience across manufacturing operations, project execution, budget management, and maintenance activities within industrial environments.

  • Strong experience in manufacturing processes and continuous improvement.

  • Experience managing personnel (3 direct reports: 2 technicians and 1 engineer).

  • Solid knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)

  • Problem solving and root cause analysis.

  • Lean Manufacturing.

  • Quality assurance and process control.

  • Manufacturing process development and sustainment.

  • Continuous improvement tools and methodologies.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience with Core Tools (PF, PFMEA, Control Plan, MC).

  • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI).

  • Familiarity with Carrier manufacturing systems and governance.
