About the role
As a Facilities Leader, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing facilities projects and services, ensuring their successful execution in terms of scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety. This role leads the optimal operation of buildings, offices, and general services, while managing infrastructure systems and maintenance programs to support business continuity and operational excellence across manufacturing and distribution sites.
You will interact closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and service providers, providing both technical and administrative leadership to ensure facilities operations meet corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
As a Facilities Leader, you’ll be responsible for:
Planning, coordinating, and supervising facilities projects (renovation, expansion, improvement, or cost‑saving initiatives), ensuring on‑time and on‑budget execution with high quality and safety standards.
Supervising the optimal operation of buildings, offices, and general services.
Managing infrastructure and peripheral systems, including compressors, refrigeration systems, substations, electrical networks, pneumatic systems, gas networks, water and condensate systems, sanitary systems, and gas stations across CMXA and CDUs.
Overseeing compliance with preventive and corrective maintenance plans for facilities areas.
Managing KPIs and metrics related to maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and service levels.
Evaluating team effectiveness and defining action plans to achieve departmental performance objectives.
Administering and controlling maintenance budgets and expenses, including personnel costs.
Managing contractors and service providers for maintenance and construction projects, ensuring compliance with scope, timelines, safety, and quality requirements.
Supervising engineering designs and construction details through certified engineering firms, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Generating executive-level reports, documenting actions, progress, and changes.
Coordinating and leading meetings, providing technical and administrative guidance to support timely decision-making.
Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
We are looking for proactive, organized, and results‑driven professionals with strong leadership and technical capabilities.
As a minimum you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Electrical-Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Infrastructure and General Services.
At least 2 years of experience in maintenance of industrial plants and buildings.
Experience in project management.
Solid experience in maintenance and installation of electromechanical systems, substations, buildings, and general services.
Knowledge of maintenance planning for peripheral equipment and facilities infrastructure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
Intermediate English proficiency.
Availability to work flexible schedules as required.
Technical Knowledge
Facilities and infrastructure maintenance.
Electrical, mechanical, and civil systems.
ISO / TS 16949 standards.
OSHA, ASME, DIN, ANSI standards.
Budget control and numerical analysis.
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
Strong exposure to contractor and vendor management.
Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments with high safety standards.
