Carrier is looking for software, electrical, mechanical, systems, and other engineering majors with demonstrated leadership ability and strong academic performance to join our competitive Carrier Engineering Leadership Program (ELP). The ELP offers new graduates an opportunity to deliver impactful contributions to strategic projects through three eight-month rotations across various Carrier business units.

ELP rotation locations will reside within Santa Catarina but ELPs may rotate to different buildings to different leaders during their first 2 years.

Candidates selected for the program will receive front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch their capabilities and accelerate their professional development. In addition to the hands-on experience, the program includes high-caliber training, mentorship, and guidance from our diverse team of Carrier executives and program alumni to build a strong and lasting global network of colleagues.

Our Disruptive Climate Solutions and Integrated Energy Systems team is evolving to maintain Carrier’s leadership in the market through investments in advanced research, technologies and methods that will shape the future of our products and services. As part of this transformation, we are hiring and empowering a recently graduated electrical engineer to help us innovate and pursue sustainable solutions for our customers.

Associates will apply scientific principles to innovate, design, integrate, and implement technologies, components, sub-systems, and systems to ensure compliance to specifications, requirements, Agency requirements and customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interaction with team members from different facilities to develop projects assigned.

  • Management of your own workflow for assigned projects.

  • Ability to adapt to new teams, interest to learn and continuously improving.

  • Assist electronics engineers to support product modifications.

  • Support and update the engineering drawings and bill of materials.

  • Participate in cost reduction & quality improvement projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electronics, mechatronics, digitals systems and Robotics engineering.

  • Average of Academic grade point must be greater than or equal to 90 and above

  • To be eligible for the program, you must be an August or December 2025 graduate of the degree in the relevant field and start in the Leadership Program at Summer 2025

  • Relevant internships or co-op experiences referred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot electronics schematics.

    Familiarity with standard office productivity tools (Microsoft Office, etc.)

  • Familiarity in using Altium or similar PCB software for schematic and layout interpretation.

  • Knowledge of programming software as C++, Python, Java or similar is highly desirable.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on embedded systems.

  • Proficiency in software testing techniques, including manual testing, automated testing, and regression testing.

  • Experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Robot Framework, or similar.

    Familiarity with industry standards and protocols commonly used in embedded systems development (e.g., Modbus, RS485, BACnet).

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA / DevOps) is preferred.

Soft skills:

  • Proactive and results-driven; thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Ability to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience

    Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

    Strong adaptability capacity

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities

    Able to identify and develop continuous improvement projects to influence and drive change.

  • Knowledge of refrigeration products (preferred but not required).

  • Ability to solve challenging and complex customer requests.
