About the role
Entry-level Mechanical Engineer. Participates in product development activities, executes tests, and produces parts, designs, or sketches, following all appropriate Mechanical Engineering design, safety, and qualification standards.
Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
Participate in product development activities including cost estimates, implementation of standard specifications, drawing board layout, and development of performance or maintenance requirements.
Support execution tests for systems, sub-systems, and components. Analyze test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives.
Follow all appropriate design, safety, and qualification standards in development programs.
Produce parts, designs, or sketches for machines, components, systems or work orders / purchase requests
Provide engineering support on field quality issues reported, providing effective solutions in the products improving the quality with a competitive cost in a timely manner.
Provide factory support regarding product engineering and design fabricated in commercial manufacturing plants under our operative system ACE.
Support product ETL/UL audits through plants and maintain accuracy agency files.
Keep and maintain the accuracy of engineering information, update and maintain master BOM, drawing and engineering specification.
Requirements
As a minimum you must have:
- 1+ years as a Product/Design engineer
- 1 + years working with product change implementation
- Fluent in English
- Mechanical/Electrical Engineering bachelor's degree
