About the role

As the Digital Lead for Carrier Business Services (CBS), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the digital transformation agenda across CBS. This position is responsible for driving innovation and operational excellence in key process areas, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Payroll, and Master Data Management (MDM).

You will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of digital solutions that streamline workflows, enhance data integrity, and improve service delivery for both internal stakeholders and external customers. The role requires a strategic mindset, hands-on leadership, and the ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments.

You will work closely with business units, technology teams, and supporting functions such as Procurement, Accounting, Legal, and HR to deliver integrated digital solutions. You will also be responsible for managing a team of direct and functional reports, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at managing multiple priorities, and communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or experience in related field
  • 10+ years of experience in relevant field
  • Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives within finance or GBS (CBS in Carrier).
  • Strong understanding of PTP, OTC, Payroll, and MDM processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage teams in a matrix environment (direct and functional reporting).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, automation tools, and data management platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Digital Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute comprehensive digital transformation strategies for CBS, ensuring all initiatives align with Carrier’s global objectives and business priorities.

Continuously scan the market for new technologies, automation opportunities, and process optimization methods across Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Payroll, and Master Data Management (MDM).

Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital projects, using data-driven insights to drive improvements.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

Build strong partnerships with business units, technology teams, and supporting functions to deliver integrated digital solutions.

Act as a liaison between functional teams and technology stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and seamless execution of digital initiatives.

Facilitate workshops and working groups to gather requirements, share best practices, and foster innovation across CBS.

  • Resource Management

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of direct and functional reports, promoting a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning.

Effectively allocate resources, manage workloads, and set clear priorities to ensure timely delivery of digital projects and initiatives.

Provide regular feedback, coaching, and career development opportunities to team members.

  • Governance & Compliance

Ensure all digital initiatives comply with Carrier’s organisational standards, regulatory requirements, and data governance policies.

Establish robust controls and processes to safeguard data integrity, privacy, and security across CBS operations.

Monitor project risks, proactively address issues, and maintain transparent reporting to senior leadership.

  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Champion the adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation, cloud platforms) and industry best practices to enhance CBS capabilities.

Drive a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation, learning from failures, and celebrating successes.

Lead process improvement initiatives, leveraging digital tools to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve service quality.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

Communicate the vision, benefits, and progress of digital transformation initiatives to stakeholders at all levels.

Manage change effectively, addressing resistance, building buy-in, and ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.

Gather feedback from end-users and stakeholders to refine digital solutions and maximize impact.
