A key responsibility of this role is to lead overseas and local supplier audits, evaluate manufacturing readiness, and verify compliance with quality system requirements. The Specialist partners closely with internal engineering, quality, and purchasing teams, as well as external suppliers, to support successful new part qualifications and continuous improvement of supplier performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead overseas and local supplier audits to evaluate process capability, quality systems, and readiness for new part introduction.

  • Own the PPAP and Pro‑cert processes, ensuring accurate documentation, timely submissions, and alignment with project milestones.

  • Review PFMEA, Control Plans, and related quality documents to confirm supplier compliance with automotive standards.

  • Conduct on‑site assessments and quality checks for new components and new project launches.

  • Support supplier development by identifying gaps, coordinating corrective actions, and monitoring improvement progress.

  • Strong understanding of PFMEA, Control Plan, CP/CPK, SPC, and core quality tools required in supplier qualification.

  • Practical experience with MSA (Gage R&R), CMM inspection, 8D problem solving, and quality measurement techniques.

  • Experience performing supplier audits and evaluating new part development processes; overseas auditing experience is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with a proactive and self‑driven approach to problem solving.

  • Good English communication skills (TOEIC 500+).
