About the Role

We are seeking a Lab Manager to lead and oversee air conditioning testing and validation activities for new product development (NPD) programs.

This role is responsible for ensuring testing accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance with international standards, while providing strong leadership to drive lab performance and support timely product launches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the HVAC testing laboratory

  • Oversee testing of RES, IMS, LC, and VRF systems to ensure compliance with performance standards

  • Monitor and validate key parameters including temperature, pressure, airflow, refrigerant performance, and energy efficiency (COP/EER)

  • Ensure all testing activities comply with company standards and international regulations

  • Supervise test setup, instrumentation calibration, and safety procedures

  • Ensure test equipment and benches are properly maintained and operational

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for performance deviations

  • Review product specifications, test procedures, and technical documentation

  • Prepare and review test reports for internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve issues

  • Support customer witness testing and validation activities

  • Ensure compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) standards

  • Lead and develop team capability through training programs for engineers, technicians, and customers

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering

  • 7–10+ years of experience in HVAC testing/laboratory environment

  • Minimum 3 years in supervisory or management role

  • Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems and testing methodologies

  • Experience with performance testing, instrumentation, and diagnostics

  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder management capability

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Good command of English and Thai
