About this role
The SIOP Demand Planning Manager will have oversight of the regional Consensus Demand Plan for the assigned BU. This role will oversee the regional demand planning process and provide strategic direction to continuously enhance demand planning capabilities.
This role willbe responsible forNorth America CHVAC demand planning that includes revenue of +$1B.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate withBusinessLeaders to develop an 18-month consensus demand plan for assigned Business Unit through the monthly SIOP cycle.
Partner with stakeholders across teams to capture all inputs to the demand plan and to ensure adjustments and improvements to forecasting models and methodologies are implemented.
Integrate firm backlog, order pipeline, bookings forecast, statistical forecasting, portfolio management, NPI, market intelligence and other product demand signals to create a consensus demand forecast.
Coordinates cross-functional discussions to document and challenge Demand Plan assumptions and refine the forecast.
Analyze performance and metrics toidentifycauses of forecast error and bias and develop and implement plans to correct errors.
Stay updated on market trends, industry dynamics, and customer behavior
Develop plan to capture opportunities andidentifydemand changes
Collaborate with senior management to align demand planning initiatives with overall business strategies and goals. Ensure alignment between revenue and demand plans.
Understand the drivers of demand changes, customers, and revenue impacts and potential effects on the downstream processes.
Lead the SIOP Demand Reviews, prepare all data and metrics for review,identifygaps and scenarios that must be presented, guide final decision making on open items and trade-offs, and prepare escalations for executive review whereappropriate.
Create the SIOP Demand Review minutes, communicate keyconclusionstostakeholdersand perform follow up of the actions.
Lead continuous improvement efforts to advance the demand planning and forecasting process capabilities.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
6+ years of experience in Supply Chain (S&OP, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Materials Management, Master Planning, Scheduling)
Preferred Qualifications
Strong Working knowledge of S&OE,IBPand/or S&OP with implementation experience
MBA ormaster's degree in businessor equivalent
Ability to build cross-functional relationships throughstrong communicationand interpersonal skills.
Experience with demand planning tools
Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel, SAP, Kinaxisand PowerPoint
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.Benefits
