About the Role:
Looking for the Technical Sales professionals with 5 to 8 years experience to handle the technical sales in commercial applied HVAC products, including Chillers, AHUs, and FCUs and Knowledge of low-side plant room operations and HVAC system applications. Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving customer issues related to HVAC equipment and thermodynamics. Proficiency in MS Office and presentation tools. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering effective solutions and enhancing customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Service & Technical Responsibilities (Chillers/Low side/Air side)
Handle installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing of commercial applied HVAC equipment.
Attend to customer complaints and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
Conduct site visits for equipment inspection, fault diagnosis, and service requirements.
Prepare service reports and technical recommendations.
Coordinate with customers, technicians, contractors, and internal teams for the smooth execution of service activities and business opportunities.
Ensure service activities are completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timelines.
Identify equipment performance issues and recommend corrective actions.
Support AMC, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and retrofit activities.
Leads & Business Development
Generate leads for service contracts, AMC, spare parts, retrofit, replacement, and equipment sales.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
Identify opportunities for additional sales during customer visits and service calls.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Customer & Internal Coordination
Act as the primary technical contact for assigned customers.
Maintain regular communication with customers regarding service status, quotations, and pending requirements.
Coordinate with factory/OEM, engineering, commercial, and operations teams as required.
Ensure customer satisfaction and timely closure of complaints and commercial issues.
Required Skills
Good technical knowledge of commercial HVAC/applied systems (ACC, WCC, AHU, FCU, controls, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Basic understanding of sales, quotations, and negotiation.
Ability to identify business opportunities and convert service requirements into sales.
Good MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word.
Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
Willingness to travel to customer sites.
Educational Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related engineering discipline.
Preferred Experience
Experience in commercial/applied HVAC, chillers, AHUs, and related systems.
Experience in both service and technical sales will be preferred.
Experience handling commercial customers, consultants, contractors, and facility management teams is an advantage.
