Your role

As an ElectricalEngineer you will participate in electricaldesignactivities for units developed byCarrier Corp., the world's leader in high-technology heating,air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions. You will conduct electrical panel development activities and studies, and produce designs following all appropriate Electrical Engineering design, safety, and qualification standards.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Participating in electrical panel development activities including selectionof electrical components, design of wiring diagram, 3D designs of electrical panel and cable routing.
  • Following all appropriate design, safety, and qualification standards in development programs. 
  • Working toward commonality and optimization of product & components to reduce design errors and escapes. 
  • Producing parts, specifications, designs, or sketches for electrical panels, components, systemsor work orders / purchase requests.
  • Bill of material creation

Who we’re looking for

You'll succeed in this role if you are able to work independently and as part of a team, and can demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solvingskills.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Degree or technical knowledge in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering
  • Knowledge in CREO Parametric or other 3D design program
  • Knowledge in SEE ELECTRICAL EXPERT or other wiring diagram design program
  • 2 or more years of experience at a similar position
  • Good understanding of electrical principles
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and prioritize key deliverables
  • Good command of English and Spanish(spoken and written)
  • Valid EU work permit

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Work experience in multinational industrial environment 
  • Certified knowledge in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Systems 
  • Good command of French (spoken and written)
