About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Indirect Procurement Leader within the CCR Global Supply Chain Organization. This leader will be responsible for creating and developing an industry leading category management team to manage the $135M+ portfolio of Indirect spend of the business.

He will lead his segments strategically to create step changes in value creation and industry leading performance in all aspects of procurement including strategy, organizational alignment, sourcing and category management, supplier relationship management, operating process management, performance management, digital and technology, and talent management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 3-4 employees in Indirect Procurement, potentially across multiple EU countries

  • Develop and execute global category strategies and contracts in collaboration with site leaders and teams

  • Drive sustainable value creation initiatives to enhance company competitiveness and supply reliability

  • Foster strong collaboration with business unit and factory leaders to align on strategy, supplier selection, and value creation sustainability

  • Transform supplier relationships into strategic partnerships with a focus on joint value creation models

  • Lead strategic negotiations up to C-suite level

  • Oversee project and strategy development, contract management, and team productivity using CCR tools

  • Cultivate an inspiring team environment characterized by open communication, clear goals, delegation, motivation, feedback mechanisms, and recognition of achievements

Requirements

  • BA/BS business or engineering degree with 8+ years experience (preferred)

  • MA/MS degree with 5+ years experience

  • 8+ years’ experience in Procurement/Supply Chain leadership (Indirect preferred)

  • Proven ability to exercise independent business judgment to drive strategy and results.

  • Proven ability to lead a regional team to achieve results through leadership & influence.

  • Ability to excel in a dynamic environment.

  • Demonstrated thought leadership with ability to lead analysis and resolution of complex problems where success requires the evaluation of both tangible and intangible variables.

  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
