This role is for a Customer Service Technician adept at thriving in a high-paced setting to cater to the needs of both internal and external customers. The primary responsibilities include addressing basic customer queries related to product availability, maintenance, order status, and efficiently managing records of customer interactions and transactions. The position also involves documenting inquiry details, complaints, comments, and the corresponding actions taken. Additionally, the role focuses on cultivating foundational proficiency in executing established procedures, guided by detailed instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Entry

  • Assist customers with order entry, expediting of orders, product selection and order status

  • Resolve issue related to shortages/overages of shipments

  • Process orders and issue credits

  • Answer incoming calls and assist the customers with any questions pertaining to products and shipment details

  • Provide quality customer service by following up and initiating correspondence verbally and via email

  • Serve as a backup in all areas, assist in specific assignments.

  • Work with regional sales managers to ensure a high level of customers service within a specific region

  • Analyze individual solutions and take appropriate actions to insure the customers need is being met

  • Log, research and resolve customer complaints

  • Work closely with cross functional groups such as sales, planning, quality, marketing and legal departments

  • Performs other duties or projects as assigned by management

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 2+ years’ of Customer Service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or college degree

  • Positive and professional work ethic

  • Knowledge of general and basic office etiquette and skills

  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and teamwork

  • Detail orientated, organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to be forward thinking, multitask and troubleshoot

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft office and Microsoft Outlook
