About the role

The Product / Technical SupportManager acts as the primary escalation and assisting point for both internal and external stakeholders for all technical-related topics around Carrier counter products, and responsible to drive value to customers and team members by creating and sharing product knowledge.

Responsibilities

As a Product/Technical SupportManager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support in configuration-, price-, quote- and order process to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Conducting technical training and explanation to internal and external customers about products, features, solutions, and troubleshooting
  • Taking ownership in solving open support cases in a timely manner
  • Analysing customer feedback and recommend product upgrades and revisions
  • Checking incoming customer special requests (SPA´s) and take ownership in the realization process,  consulting R&D, analysing costs & creating pricing
  • Support the overall development process based on development request inputs from sales and field engineering
  • Supporting actively users with product configuration requests and draft specific instructions & guidelines

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

  • Technical education with economic understanding or business education with experience in technical product environment and high technical affinity
  • Ideally 3-5 years of experience in product management or similar function 
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Hungarian and English
  • Knowledge of the following: SAP, Store Wizard, Sales Force, MS Office applications
  • Hands-on & excellent problem-solving ability, analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient communication skills, customer service focus and collaborative mindset
  • Ability to transfer customer requirements into business value and technical specification, also being able to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to technical and non-technical people

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Knowledge of food retail or refrigeration industry is highly appreciated
  • Familiarity with Solid Edge
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education in a relevant field
