We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver (CDL-A) to transport materials, parts, and merchandise to designated local locations using approved routes. Under direct supervision, the Truck Driver performs local transportation duties including driving passenger vans, semi-trailer trucks, and light industrial vehicles, loading and unloading materials, and performing routine operational checks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely move empty and loaded trailers between docks, parking spots, and staging areas using a yard truck/hostler
  • Load and unload trucks as required using material handling equipment available
  • Perform minor maintenance operations on vehicle to insure proper operation
  • Perform daily pre-trip truck inspections to check all fluid levels, battery level, tire pressure, lights, and signals and maintain the appearance of the vehicle
  • Update yard management systems, log moves, or scan trailer numbers for tracking
  • Perform other tasks as needed
  • Follow all site safety rules specific to their position, as seen in the associate handbook, cardinal rule cards, job specific standard work and any EHS training documents
  • Report all chemical spills and other environmental concerns to their supervisor, security, or EHS immediately

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Valid and current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
  • Valid and current Department of Transportation (DOT) card.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of CDL-A driving experience.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record with a strong history of safe driving.
  • Ability to obtain a Clamp Truck License.
  • Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to make real-time, safety-conscious decisions while operating vehicles.
  • Ability to safely perform trailer drops and manual loading/unloading tasks.
  • Experience using material handling equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, or pallet jacks.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle inspection procedures, and transportation safety practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage delivery schedules, and maintain accurate delivery or inspection records.

Pay Range

The hourly rate for this position is between $15.00 - $30.00 per hour.  Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
